Christmas Reishi tea with orange, cinnamon & spices

Weihnachtlicher Reishi-Tee mit Orange, Zimt & Gewürzen

Warming, calming, perfect for the cold season. This festive Reishi tea combines earthy depth with wintry aromas and is ideal for relaxing evenings. Thanks to our Reishi powder, it's easy to prepare and exceptionally aromatic.

Ingredients (for 1 large mug)

  • 1/2 tsp Reishi powder
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 organic orange slice or some orange peel
  • 1 small cinnamon stick or 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1 clove or 1 pinch of ground clove
  • optional: 1 slice of fresh ginger
  • Optional: Honey, maple syrup, or date syrup for sweetening.

preparation

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add reishi powder, orange, cinnamon, clove and optionally ginger.
  3. Simmer gently over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat, let it stand briefly and pour through a fine sieve.
  5. Sweeten to taste and enjoy hot.

Tips & Variations

  • A splash of oat or almond milk makes the tea especially well-rounded.
  • A pinch of cardamom or star anise enhances the Christmas note.
  • It is also very aromatic when brewed with cold water and gently warmed.

Incidentally, Reishi has an intense, slightly bitter flavor of its own – the spices provide balance and warmth.
